| 2003年的1:25万地质填图和实测剖面工作中,在新疆喀喇昆仑山地区岔路口一带原划二叠纪加温达坂组哑地层中首次采到了大量孢粉化石,鉴定为晚二叠世早期。同时,对该套地层进行了重新厘定,划定为上二叠统早期神仙湾组,并对其沉积环境进行了探讨。 |

| Abstract: |
| Numerous sporopollen fossils were collected for the first time during the mapping of the 1:250 000 geological map and measurement of the section in 2003 in the barren strata of the formerly Permian Jiawendaban Formation in the Chalukou region,Karakorum,Xinjiang. These microfossils are of early Late Permian age. The discovery of the microfossils allowed the redelineament of the strata in the study area as the early Upper Permian Shenxianwan Formation. The depositional environments of these strata are also discussed. |
